Peyton Manning didn't give any comments about his thumb.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning hurt his hand late in Sunday’s American Football Conference championship game against the Patriots when he hit it on the helmet of Colts tackle Tarik Glenn.

Manning refusedyesterday to give away any secrets about his bruised right thumb. Manning kept both hands in his pockets when he walked into his weekly news conference, and when he gestured at the lectern, he carefully used his left hand.
Belichick, head coach of the New England Patriots, is known for remaining secretive about the status of his injured players.

Manning lifted the Colts to a 38-34 victory over the Patriots in last Sunday's AFC Championship Game to book a berth in Super Bowl XLI.

The Colts face the Chicago Bears in Miami on Feb. 4.
