In the file of who kills people – people or guns

NICKEL MINES, Pennsylvania (AP) – In a village tucked away in the beautiful hills of Amish country in Pennsylvania, tragedy struck with both fists yesterday. Charles Roberts walked in an Amish schoolhouse and when he was finished five little girls ranging from 7 to 12 years old where shot at close range plus himself from a self-inflicting shot.

In a world where students are shooting principals, fellow-students, it is hard to comprehend for any reason that someone would take the innocent lives of children whose only guilt was to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

One must ask themselves if guns which appear to be the weapon of choice, is not too easily accessible and should we not thoroughly and painstakingly investigate (I did say investigate) those who apply for gun permits and why.
